Forest Floor Fabrics Blog Tour

Welcome to my stop on Bonnie Christine's Forest Floor Blog Tour!!

I'm so excited and honored to be participating in another blog hop for Bonnie. Her fabrics and designs are absolutely stunning and I really love working with Art Gallery Fabrics. They make some of the softest fabrics in the industry. This blog tour came at a perfect time. I have a friend who was due right about the time that Bonnie announced the tour. Of course I had to make a sweet baby quilt using some of the Forest Floor fabrics. The floral prints in this line are perfection, and the bunnies? Don't even get me started on the cuteness.

I used 4 fat quarters (blocks) and a half yard (binding) for the quilt I made. All but one of the fabrics I chose for this quilt came from the Late Night palette (above). The pattern I used was a version of Camille Roskelley's pattern Little Man from her first book, Simplify.

I backed it with the closest blue I could find of Cuddle Dimple by Shannon Fabrics. Super soft, and a great addition to the softness of the Art Gallery cottons.

I quilted it a basic and wide meandering with a swirl every once in a while. The large and open pattern keeps the quilt looking fluffy and soft.

This cutie is the older sister to the lucky baby who gets to snuggle this soft quilt.

Thanks Bonnie Christine for the opportunity to play with some Forest Floor! Be sure to keep following the blog tour. In case you missed it, yesterdays project was brought to you by Anna Dineen from My Wandering Path. And tomorrow's post is by Rachael McKeeman of The Floral Suitcase.
